Description

Hi everyone,
due to personal illness I have rescheduled the hike to Saturday the 25.03
My apologies for the circumstances, just I catched a mean flu.
Cheers
Uli

Goldies Bush Walk, is quite a stunning hike through coastal kauri forest just outside of Muriwai in the Waitakere Ranges. It lead us down to the the Mokoroa Stream which we then will follow and cross several times until we end up at the Mokoroa Falls where we will have our lunch. (Please bring your own). Along the way are lots of fresh water pools to have a swim in. A loop walk through forest will bring us back to the car park on Constable Rd. (With lunch and a swimming break this hike will take about 4h)

Bringing swimwear is highly recommended, you will definitely miss out on some fun without. Be prepared that your shoes will get wet or just walk the part along the Mokoroa Stream barefoot.

As within the nature of hike a long a stream rocks, stones and surfaces can be quite slippery from times.
Please note: I am not a professional guide but I have done this hike before. Everybody is responsible for their own actions and should act within their abilities.
