Round the Mountain (Ruapehu) Tramp

I have the week of April 17th off of work and would love to get out on a 4-5 day tramp. I'm new to NZ and have been keen to walk around Ruapehu but very open to ideas and suggestions. The Waihohonu still has some availability for the middle of that week and the rest of the huts are first come, first served. Feel free to contact me with questions or ideas!
